Are you a 4th - 6th grader who wants to go beyond school band or orchestra? Do you take lessons and practice at home, but wish you could play with other kids? Are you looking for an intense musical experience? Do you play more than one instrument? Come to the Exploratorium this summer where you'll be able to play all kinds of fun music from Bach to Björk, Miles to Radiohead and Fleet Foxes to Ray Charles. We'll help you learn your instrument quickly so you can have fun making music with other kids and teachers, too.

The Exploratorium is held at the Elementary School Campus

9AM - 10AM: Collaborate in small ensembles with joyful and energetic High School TA’s in songwriting, arranging, and improvising

10AM - 11AM: Eurhythmics, Music Theory, Ear-training and Composition

11AM - 12PM: Prepahkestra- play new and exciting music written by and for this large conducted ensemble

12PM - 1PM: Lunch, basketball and chill time

1PM - 2PM: Instrument building, Garage band/Songwriting, Break-dancing and Theatre

2:00PM - 3PM: Play Bluegrass, Hip-Hop, Country, Rhythm and Blues, Jazz and much more in these small specialty ensembles.
